“I had been looking to move for some time but everything that I had looked at either required too much work to change it to how I would like it or just didn’t have the space and layout I wanted.When I was shown round the stone walls and bare floorboards of the development at Inverleith Terrace I was both extremely excited by the vision that was being proposed and quite nervous. A designer kitchen, multiple bathrooms with my choice of tiles, the space of the proposed rooms, usable layout and my choice of fit and finish all sounded perfect but it’s easy to make promises that aren’t delivered. However I needn’t have worried as at every step of the journey S1 were there to help and make sure I was happy with how everything was progressing.
The first step was when I was personally introduced to the kitchen designer. I was shown the outline kitchen proposal that that they had drawn up and talked through the concept. It was a great design but being able to make a few tweaks to make it just right was really welcome. The fit and finish of the installed kitchen is fantastic and I still love coming home to it every day nearly 9 months after moving in.

My previous flat had a beautiful natural stone tiled bathroom and this was something that I was really keen to continue with in my new home. Again I was personally introduced to the tile supplier who was able to show me a number of different options before I settled on my final choices. I knew that the tiles would be much more expensive than what was probably budgeted for and that they’re not the easiest to work with so I was surprised that the small excess I was asked for was not more. The finished en-suite, bathroom and WC were truly stunning and definitely have the wow factor.

Choosing the paint finish and carpets was all very smooth and getting the lights I wanted fitted was really easy. S1 were always very helpful and kept me informed all the way through the process. When I moved in my new home was virtually flawless and I was absolutely delighted with the finished result.”
