S1 West Ltd (a joint venture between S1 Developments Ltd and West Ranga Ltd) have submitted proposals to re-develop the former BMI Fernbrae Hospital and its grounds to create a new high-quality residential development in the West End of Dundee City. The original Category C listed Georgian Villa known as ‘Fernbrae House’ will be retained, restored and sympathetically converted back to residential use to create 4no. generous flats. The existing incongruous 20th century extensions that currently surround the original villa will be demolished and replaced with two new modern wings of flats; 5no. to the east and 8no. to the west.
