Overton

Overton Farm is a sustainable rural development comprising 6 bespoke family houses on the former site of a dilapidated agricultural shed.

The site is well placed, sitting just outside Kirkliston to the West of Edinburgh. The landscaping includes tree lined and flower filled gardens, with soft boundaries to promote neighbourly interaction. The houses act as a connector between the two levels of the site; the lower arrival point at the burn side and the upper living spaces at garden level. The upper gardens are sheltered from the wind by the stone walls and being south facing, are light filled for the day round.
